Double texting: sending ping after ping out into the universe, waiting for a response.
There is a space between words that can extend endlessly through time in that waiting.

This work seeks to embody this space between active moments. To somehow make physical a metaphorical dead space, where many potential realities coexist and overlap without ever coming to pass.

Repeating forms and figures congregate together throughout the room: waiting for something, in the middle of something. Pieces of cardboard sit dumbly; but no more or less dumbly than any other material which may someday illuminate with the happy blue backlight that eviscerates their materiality and obscures their past.
