EXHIBITION STATEMENT

Welcome to Brittany's Mark Twain Cave Rave! Here in the heart of St. Louis, where Mark Twain and artist Brittany are basically from.

Mark Twaining is when you are in Missouri swapping stories with your best friends and family that most have heard many times. Preferably this happens near a river or on a short road trip. The details may shift each time the story is told, but you are fully telling the truth.

If you are very drunk during this you may become a Mark Twain animatronic from a Hannibal, MO museum, be careful!

Admission is free.
Enter at your own risk.
Brittany is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
You WILL get wet!

ARTIST STATEMENT

Brittany's illustrations and sculptures acknowledge and celebrate the ability to escape, even momentarily from a mundane, banal existence. Culling content from both her personal history and enigmatic pop culture moments, she recreates these vignettes into typically small-scale illustrations and paintings.

BIO

Brittany Boynton Mosier

Brittany is an artist and mom to Clark Mosier. She is currently living a double life as a resident of both St. Louis and De Soto, Missouri. She makes art always for reasons unknown. She was formerly known as a member of Butt'nBooty and Grease 3. She works with themes of hope, humor, pop culture, personal memories, family, and partying within a melancholy Missouri existence. She has been regularly exhibiting work and curating projects since she graduated from Webster University in 2012 (Note: it was fun to attend Webster at the time of indie sleaze culture.)
